Hi!
I'm Alison Bradley "Kidogo Kennels" ... And I'll tell you a bit about how I
started out. When I first decided that I was going to breed and raise dogs, I
had to decide on a name...something my mother found for me when I told
her my decision. She turned, gave me a steely eyed glare... (no doubt
remembering all the 'strays' that "followed me home" during my
childhood.)
And she said to me... "You're never going to have BIG dogs and never a
lot-ARE YOU?... How about Kidogo?"
As Kidogo is Swahili, (African) for "little" I thought it appropriate. And so it
started.
All my dogs are raised in a home environment and are well socialized-which
is a nice way of saying they take over the house and the yard and are
convinced that they own me instead of the other way round! My daughter,
Laura and I do limited showing in confirmation and have tried agility (great
fun.)
My top priority is a healthy happy well adjusted pup/dog. I raise my Bostons
and Pugs with the help of my daughter, in our home in beautiful New
Brunswick. I'm always happy to receive e-mails or calls about my "kids" so
